Sarah Nuttall and Achille Mbembe are both participating in the prestigious 2016 Summer School in Global Studies and Critical Theory in Bologna. The theme of this year's meeting is 'Global Humanities and the Global South: History, Politics, and Critical Theory.'

WiSER at the 2016 CHCI Annual Meeting

Shireen Hassim and Catherine Burns represented WiSER at the 2016 annual meeting of the Consortium of Humanities Centres and Institutes in June in London. The theme of this year's conference was 'Area Studies in a Globalising World: Past, Present, and Future.'
