South African Edition of 'On the Postcolony' to be Published in 2015

WiSER is very proud to announce that a South African edition of Achille Mbembe's influential and award-winning On the Postcolony will be published in 2015. Including a new preface by the author, this edition is the result of a collaboration between Wits University Press and the University of California Press.

On the Postcolony was published in French in 2000 and in English in 2001. It has been translated into Italian and was awarded the Bill Venter/Altron Award in 2005.
