WISER's Interrogating Political Economy is an informal reading group that meets once a month to read and critically engage with well-established and new arguments in comparative political economy. The goals of the seminar are to enrich the scholarly project of comparative political economy in South Africa, to open up the key problems of accumulation and inequality on this continent to more intensive inter-disciplinary enquiry, and to support more sophisticated understandings for the development of policy and political debate.
