WIPES | Tooze on the (German) making of modern economics

On Wednesday, at 4pm, the WIPES discussion will be based on Adam Tooze's Statistics and the German state, 1900-1945: the making of modern economic knowledge.  Please read, at least, the Introduction and Chapters 5, 6 and 7.  (The crisis of Weimar's statistical establishment, 1930-1933, Statistics and the 'Strong State', 1933-1936, The radicalization of the Nazi regime and the death of official statistics, 1936-1939).
