The long-awaited monograph Somnyama Ngonyama, a series of self-portraits by celebrated visual activist and artist in residence at WiSER, Zanele Muholi, offers a radical statement of identity and resistance. Includes written contributions by twenty-four curators, poets, and authors that draw out the many layers of meaning and possible readings for this bold and brilliant collection of images.
