with Graham Furniss, School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London, facilitated by Dr Robin Drennan (Research Office, Wits)
Professor Graham Furniss is a distinguished scholar of orality, literature and social analysis in African contexts. An authority on Hausa history and culture, and on Nigerian cultural production and political life, he has run African Studies centres and departments and conducted cross disciplinary work on curricula in commonwealth universities. He is a guest of the University and of African Studies, a leading journal based at Wits University.
