Toxicity, Waste, Detritus

Friday, 8 July, 2016 - 08:30

"Toxicity, Detritus and Waste" is a two-day event taking place in July in Durban that is part of WiSER’s ongoing Mellon funded collaboration with the University of Michigan on rethinking the Global South.  It explores topics as varied as toxic Indian ocean ships, urban ruination in Luanda, and mine waste in Johannesburg.  It is a closed workshop that is not open to submissions.
