Responding to the Challenges of Racism in a Post-Apartheid South Africa

Tuesday, 5 May, 2015 - 09:30

The Ahmed Kathrada Foundation and The Nelson Mandela Foundation invites you
To a Round Table discussion to explore the possibility of a National Anti-Racism Network.
Racism continues to bedevil the daily lives of most South Africans at all levels, from the personal to the structural. We have witnessed an increased number of racist incidents in schools, universities, places of worship, the sports fields and workplace.
No single organisation can respond to the magnitude of the task  of combatting racism and working towards its eradication. The two foundations have considered the necessity of a broad anti-racism network as being one of the key elements to any national response to dealing with racism and therefore request the presence of a representative from your organisation to attend this exploratory Round Table discussion on the formation of a National anti-racism network.
