13th annual Ruth First Memorial Lecture

RACE: LIVED EXPERIENCES AND CONTEMPORARY CONVERSATIONS
The Vice-Chancellor, Prof Adam Habib, and Wits Journalism invite you to the 13th annual Ruth First Memorial Lecture.

Ruth First Fellow Panashe Chigumadzi will report on her research into the experience of those she describes as ‘coconuts’. Ruth First Fellow Sisonke Msimang and Lebo Mashile will perform Msimang’s text based on her research into the possibility of authentic interracial friendship. The evening will include a conversation between the Fellows and the audience, facilitated by Eusebius McKaiser.
